Michael T. Diver, Esq.
Michael T. Diver is a lawyer, agent, and advocate originally from Redondo Beach, California. Mr. Diver attended the University of Oklahoma, where he studied microbiology and political science, ultimately earning his Bachelor of Arts with a minor in Philosophy. During his time at the University of Oklahoma, Mr. Diver was a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity, where he held various leadership roles, and was named a captain of the University of Oklahoma Rugby Club.
Finally pursuing his passion for the law, Mr. Diver attended the Oklahoma City University School of Law as a Merit Scholar. Mr. Diver was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity, Criminal Law Association, and served as Secretary to the Oklahoma Bar Association, Law Student Division. While at OCU Law, Mr. Diver earned multiple distinctions including the Faculty Honor Roll, the Dean’s List, and was awarded the Pro Bono Service Award for his outstanding legal work in the community.
Mr. Diver began his professional career as a law clerk with the Law Offices of Adam R. Banner during his second year of law school as well as clerked at the Oklahoma Innocence Project where he investigated claims of actual innocence and helped prepare applications for post-conviction relief in Oklahoma state court and Federal Writs of Habeas Corpus. Mr. Diver continued in the private sector having successfully managed and operated the Law Firm of Oklahoma from 2014-2017. During that time, Mr. Diver gained valuable experience in all stages of the criminal process throughout various state and federal prosecutions ranging from misdemeanor drug and alcohol offenses to violent felonies and crimes against children. Mr. Diver represented countless individuals in their pursuit of justice which, often resulted in dismissals, favorable plea agreements with prosecuting authorities, jury acquittal, or by non-prosecution agreement. In addition, Mr. Diver has drafted successful appeals to the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals and the United States 10thCircuit Court of Appeals.
Mr. Diver has also served as senior associate attorney at Velie Law Firm. Mr. Diver represented the interests of countless world-class athletes and individuals including Rugby World Cup winners, National Basketball Association athletes, Fortune 500 business owners and renowned medical research institutions, and many individuals with national and international recognition for their talents and professional abilities.
